Polaroid land camera swinger model 2. A great conversation piece in any industrial space, home, or studio.

Must be an age thing. But back in popularity with the'young' again. Beautifully designed and manufactured, and sadly now past its intended purpose, this has been individually handmade into a lovely retro lamp. Will look great just about anywhere, adds a little bit of style to your space, and something that gets noticed, as a swinger should be! Style and substance, what's not to like.

The Polaroid Model 20 "Swinger" was a popular Land Camera produced by the Polaroid Corporation between July 1965 and 1970. The Swinger was especially successful in the youth market due to its low price, stylish appearance, and catchy Meet the Swinger jingle. The song of the commercial Meet the Swinger was sung by Barry Manilow and a female chorus with the music written by Mitch Leigh, and the lyrics that used the instructions of how to take photographs with the camera and also revealed the price were written by Phyllis Robinson. Converted into lamps with the following specifications. Fitted : ES Switched Lampholder in Black Plastic / Bakelite.

Fitted : Black 13A Plug Top with 3A Fuse. Standard Black 13A Plug Top with a standard 3a fuse fitted.

The 3A fuse will take upto 750w as a guide so any lamp will be ok. Blue Herringbone Round Fabric Cable 3 Core. Supplied :4w LED Crown Silver Light Bulb Mirror Top E27 Warm White. 120 x 80 mm Globe Bulb.
