Serial number L311239276, this camera's birthday is Nov 26, 1973 which is about a year after they first came onto the market. The camera has been film tested, and is working. Pictures taken with this camera are in the second photo.

The picture quality is reliable and I haven't had any issues with it for the packs that I shot. The Self Timer also works and is good condition (the box is pretty worn though).

When I got this camera, it wasn't responding to film packs. After cleaning off the battery connections, it came back to life and has been working since. The film door is a bit loose, but stays shut without issue.

The camera sticks on the left side when opening it, and is hard to open. There is also a small fracture near the viewfinder (pictured in the last photo) that probably came from forcing it open. I'd recommend finding a way to loosen up the latch for continued use. Otherwise this camera seem to be in good condition, with everything else working as expected. The included self timer also works, but the box it came in is in worn condition.

Don't forget that since modern sx-70 film is a higher iso than the original film from the 70s, you should take pictures with the exposure compensation dial on the front 1/3 to the black side.
