Nice RARE Vintage 1970's POLAROID SX-70 Folding Instant Camera. Original Model

  
This is the First, Original Model of the Polaroid Sx-70 Land camera that started it all--- a camera from the early to mid 1970's. I'm not too familiar with this camera, have not shot any actual photos with it because I don't have any. But I can tell you it's in Excellent Cosmetic Condition---- almost 99% Perfect Leather and Chrome! Really nothing wrong except for a little very light wear. But there are two small flaws worth noting.

1 there is a ding/dent on two of the folding "venetian blinds" of the viewfinder--- it's at the upper, front left portion. But it doesn't affect operation. 2 a little piece of the rubber of the red shutter button is creeping out of the circular bezel of the button. But it also Does Not affect operation. That's about it for issues that I know of --- it's Super Clean otherwise.

Functionally, I don't know because I don't have a film pack to test it with, but it looks perfectly clean inside the film compartment. The lens glass also looks clean--- there's some very faint almost-microscopic dust specs inside, but they won't do anything. No fungus that I can see. The viewfinder is bright and clear, and the rangefinder focusing is distinct and strong. And everything opens and latches as it should.

So it's Not Mint condition, and it has not been fully tested, so I don't know how well it works, but it looks pretty nice. What you see is what you'll get--- please examine the photos. If you read all of the description you'll see I took the time to check out the item and give you an honest description.

I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken. But I can't "Bench Test" everything to factory specs, and understand every little bell and whistle.

Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it. As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder...

But they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... Unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect. Unless it's Brand New...

I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... Especially when it's a 40+ year old item! And if it was brand new the price would be 50% higher.
