It is - to the best of my knowledge - completely unique, and will make a fine collectors piece, although I must stress everything on the camera works as it should and it is in fine condition for a camera of this age. This unique camera has a fascinating back story.

When Richard Goeselt, then Director of Quality Control for Polaroid, was testing a new packfilm in the early 70s, he was getting bored with constantly changing flash bulbs on his 180 camera. Eventually he asked the techies at the Polaroid factory in Massachusetts if they could build him a professional 180 Land camera that would work with the automatic flash unit from the recently-released Polaroid 360. This unique factory-built hybrid is the result, and it all still works (see image taken today). The front of the camera the factory techies built, including the brilliant f4.5 Tominon lens, is a 180 manual camera; the rear has the electronics to make the brilliant 360 flashgun work.

So you get a professional 180 manual Land camera for outside and the convenience and perfect exposure of the 360 auto flash indoors. The cameras provenance is guaranteed by the letter of authentication by Mr Goeselt included (see pic). Everything works on this camera. The shutter dials - aperture and speed - function properly and smoothly, the optics are good and bright as is the rangefinder spot, the bellows are light tight, the camera back and case shut properly, and the bellows retract and fold properly. The flash warning lights - for charging and flash ready - all work (see pics). Obviously the dedicated charger stand is included (see pics); the sealed ni-cad battery still charges in a couple of hours and provides a number of consecutive exposures (Ive done five one after another but have never tested to see how many it manages). The auto flash exposure is typical Polaroid simple genius; as you set the focus distance on the camera it mechanically opens and closes a set of louvres in front of the flash for the correct exposure. Ill throw in a couple of packs of FP100C. Due to the vintage nature and value of this camera it is collection only.

I will also demonstrate the camera working to provide full assurance before you take it away.
